The Bean Forge’s local Coos Bay gourmet coffee is forged in a Sivetz fluid-bed roaster which provides a consistent, uniform roast. Our coffee is then packed in resealable bags featuring one-way de-gassing valves, and then shipped to you for the freshest possible coffee.
All of the beans we import are 100% Arabica, which is the highest grade of coffee in the world.
With over a decade of experience, The Bean Forge creates custom coffees the old-fashioned way: roasted, blended, and bagged by hand. Your order will be roasted and shipped within 24 hours. The rich aroma of fresh-roasted coffee will excite your senses even before you open your package. With each sip, you’ll taste the smooth intensity of perfection that comes only from the highest quality coffees in the world.
Coffee tastes best when it’s FRESH. Buying in bulk may be smart for laundry soap, but both your coffee and your cream are better if you purchase only a couple week’s worth at a time.
Coffee is 97% water, so if your water tastes bad, your coffee will taste bad. Use bottled or filtered water.
Buying whole bean coffee and fresh-grinding your own beans will always produce a fresher taste than pre-ground. However, a poor quality home grinder can ruin any of that benefit.
The best way to store your coffee is in an airtight container in the freezer. With the Bean Forge’s convenient zip-lock bags, you can take out what you need and return the bag to the freezer.
